More Mpox Info

There’s more information coming to hand on mpox (which I didn’t spell right, who’d think I could mess up four letters? Damn you hyphen!) including an update on Australia.

TL;DR the monkeypox variant in Australia is less severe than the African variant, mpox is rarely fatal. It may cause skin lesions that take time to heal, flu symptoms, headaches, fever, etc, and can last two to four weeks on average. It’s sexually transmitted but I also wouldn’t be too sanguine about fluid transfer from hand to object to hand – but that’s just me being cautious.

If you appreciate these sorts of updates please donate on Ko-Fi.Com or Paypal to help me keep things online. Thank you.
